I USED to bid tons in Tom Slater's auctions--both as Political Gallery and as Slater's Americana..........I never had problems then with shipment. They were generally with 1-2 weeks from receipt of the check/mo. Plus they were in Indy, which is right up the road from Louisville, so it was pretty quick shipping. Guess things have changed. I didn't see anything that set me off in the catalog and guess I'm glad I didn't bid now from the sounds of things.

I guess I was in the minority. I got my cards quickly and in better than advertised condition. I was happy with the packaging and service.

I had no problem with the cards that I won either. They took about 3 weeks to send an invoice and about a month or so to send the cards.....regards all

Horrible service, poor communication on their end, nice card.
