Default 1914 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson

Sent the card into PSA over 10 years ago...thought it would grade a 5. Cracked it out and got a 3 again lol. Must have missed a wrinkle on the card or something. Wish I still had the card

Probably my green Cobb. I crack any card that makes the 'permanent' pile. This one would have easily bumped up a half-grade when SGC added that tier recently, so it was a no-brainer.

I started collecting way before grading. I love having my cards in sheets & albums for display instead of those clunky plastic things. I don't get fooled easily so I don't feel the need to buy graded. Used to crack them out routinely. I probably cracked out some very valuable ones before I finally came to realize the graders and investors were winning. I still don't like it, but I leave 'em in those little plastic prisons now (mostly). I think I probably cracked out a Mathewson, or Wagner, or Cobb that was was worth a few hundred at the time, maybe $2k now.

Not the most valuable I've cracked (Graded SGC 10), but I just got this card in two days ago (thanks Barry!) and also just got a new scanner in yesterday so I'm tinkering with the settings. I've tried two different settings - first one is "document" the second is set to "photo" setting. Which looks better?
