Default Federal League - Chicago - Federal Bloomer Girls

here's a postcard of The Famous Federal Bloomer Girls, published by Cross Printing Company in Chicago...wondering whether the "Federal" refers to
the Federal League (my guess would be YES) and if they were connected in any way with the Chicago Federal League team.....are there any
womens baseball teams with a known connection to the Federal League teams?

thanks in advance.

Looks like Cross Printing did a series of Bloomer Girl postcards, so there may not necessarily be a Chicago connection to the "Federal" team:

that's something I hadn't considered, and you're probably right that there's no actual connection to the Federal League - looks like a case of "wishful thinking" on my part.

thanks for the research and the info.
