One of the bravest things I've ever seen. Moose, especially bulls, are incredibly dangerous.

Same. No way could I just stand there and watch this animal suffer.

The guy performing the rescue did a great job, and although I am not trying to belittle his heroics, he looks like he is from the MNR and has likely dealt with similar situations and has been well trained.

If the moose was in the rut, then it's highly unlikely he would have been able to get anywhere near it, but the animal was exhausted, and despite what most people think about animals, likely knew the man was trying to help it.
