Default Looking back -Five most important acquisitions - 2008

Posted By: Dan Paradis

Bruce, I never thought of looking back to see how I did for the year. Nice idea.

I actually felt pretty good after looking to see what I added to my MLB HOF RC collection.

In 2008 I added a quite few cards I had been trying to get for 3 years.

Here's my list:

1. 1923 Jim Bottomley Maple Crispette (raw, now SGC20)

2. 1914 CJ Ray Schalk SGC50

3. 1926 Sports Co of America Tony Lazzeri SGC30

4. 1903 E107 Type 1 Willie Keeler GAI Auth

5. 1907 Dietsche Postcard Ty Cobb SGC10

Top 10 Other Cards (not in any particular order):

1929 R316 Kashin Chic Hahey PSA7 (will be crossing over to SGC, I hope!)

1926 Exhibits Left Grove SGC50

1922 American Caramel Gabby Hartnett SGC50

1925 Exhibits Red Ruffing SGC60

1916 M101-4 Eppa Rixey SGC40

1931 Exhibits Luke Appling SGC40

1931 Exhibits 4-1 Bill Dickey SGC40

1933 Goudey Babe Ruth PSA2

1887 Allen & Ginter Cap Anson SGC10

1887 OJ Mickey Welch SGC30
