Does anybody know anything about this photo post card? Was it printed & distributed in 1916, or does it merely depict the 1916 Chisox? I know that the divided back post card was instituted in a particular year, but I don't know which year.

The hand writing visible on the front is on the image, not the post card.

The writing on the back, I believe, refers to when Buck Barker acquired the card from Charles Bray, based on stories I've heard about Barker and his collecting habits. Can anyone confirm this?

Did Phototone, based in Chicago, make Cubs postcards as well? Or did the make all the major league teams?

That style Kodak stamp box is from the 1950-Present era. Here is a link to a good website on real photo postcard stampbox ID.

http://www.playle.com/realphoto

Hit the "K-L" link and it will show many Kodak stamp boxes.
