Default New Board Topic? - Are there cards/photos depicting players with tattoos?

I noticed the ship tattoo on Deshler's chest (T218) and wondered if there were any baseball players showing their tattoos. I collect pre-war cards, Marine Corps items and anything tattoo related so would be a great crossover to find an old Vet ballplayer image showing a tattoo.

The only tattoo I know of off-hand is Sam Mele in the '52 Bowman set.

Great topic! Can't help any, but here's a little article by Bob Lemke about the Mele card.
