Default Curling Cards

I pulled an old box of cards from the late 80's out of the back of the closet and put a bunch of them in sleeves with the intent of posting them on several different auction sites. To my surprise I got up this morning to find them humped up in the center with the edges curling quite noticeably.. I sat a weight on them but after several hours they are still noticeably curled.. Are these cards salvageable or what.. Might a humidifier help them out???

Nothing wrong with curled cards, they're probably from vending.

Edited to add: What year? I might be interested.

Cards are from the late 80's and early 90's...... Not sure what else is in the boxes and albums. They were taken from wax packs and piled into several boxes and albums with out organizing of any sorts.. I never was a collector, just a pack rat..

Thanks for the response, I'm glad to know they are not trash. It was just weird as they were just as flat as could be when I took them from the box and laid them on the desk

I usually heat up a steam iron, put card on a large piece of cardboard, place a t-shirt over the item to be steamed, and then use about 2 or 3 circular motions with the iron over the t-shirt which is on the card. Then put card in a toploader-the submission size.that usually works.

I opened this thread hoping to see some nice trading cards of Bud Somerville or other Curling greats.
