Needed an HOF no-frame AB 350 for my master back run, and this baby just came along tonight. Not the rarest front/back combo, but likely no better HOFer with the AB 350 no-frame back. I also picked-up the Chance Piedmont Factory 42 last night as an upgrade for the back run. Very psyched

Received the 4th and final E98 Matty today, the orange. For anyone keeping score at home, combined "GPA" is a 1.125

Ian,

Those E98s look great together. The E98 is my favorite Mathewson and seeing all four colors together is cool.

Thanks for sharing them.

Thanks Andy, first thing I did was line them up in a row on my coffee table. His E98 is a cool card indeed.

Now if I could only figure out why the pic is laying on its side.

Thanks guys! And thanks Leon for fixing my pic. That's the first time that's happened to me.. I tinkered around for a while trying to find a fix but lost patience.

Sweet CJ Hooper. I still can't get over how many MLBers small Saint Mary's college produced back then, and after.

Thanks to Luke for this Spencer Hindu...I thought it made for cool companion to my Proof.

If anyone has some other Spencer examples (different backs), I might play around with a back run for this pose. We'll see.

Nice Luke. That Sunrize Bread is beast. Very rare. And I was looking at that Bender cycle 460 - great combo and good looking card (I took down the wajo AB 350 no frame instead and glad I held off this and you got it)

Thanks Ryan! I've started working on the 1917s and figured I'm going to need at least one Merchants, so why not snag a HOFer? Thanks for letting me have the Bender!

Thanks for the kick in the rear end to buy this, eBay 10% Bucks promo!

It's a beater but a beaut nonetheless. Especially for $5 at a shop in Vegas. Gotta love the stores that specialize primarily in new wax.

My first R&R Auction experience -- love the 30 minute, extended bidding starting at 7pm Eastern, but man this auction brought some very healthy prices. Lets see how the shipping goes (obviously, card is not in hand yet)

Awesome!! I didn’t know you were going for that; I wish you told me bc if I didn’t win the Wags, I was going hard for that and would have added some $$ to the hammer price for sure. Great looking red Hindu - very sharp. Congrats.

And thank you Andy and Val

No sweat, thanks...I guess I figured you weren't on it, since it's not a HOFer...either way, I feel it's within market value, and I didn't overpay.

Email me later, we need to catch up.

Second only to Ernie Howard amongst SLers in my opinion in terms of pure aesthetics.

Totally OT, but Brian, your album connected to SGC is totally awesome. Is that part of the new SGC stuff? That is really a cool album -- great pickups too!

Default SGC registry

Hey Ryan, compared to your collection you’ve posted , mine is the minor leagues, but I do enjoy it.

The SGC registry gets criticized a lot, but for a visual representation of a collection, I like it. I’m not competing with anyone, I’m just charting what I have. This scrolling view has been around a few years, I hope they don’t eliminate it, but could always improve it I suppose.

I’ve got a few more sets listed besides my SGC HOF Collection. I did some editing this afternoon.

NOW...back to the eye candy, I love the monthly pickup threads!

Happy Collecting all !
