I picked this up to trade or resell because I thought it was neat and rare; but the longer it sits on my shelf, the closer it comes to being part of the permanent collection.

Milton Bradley circa 1910.

Missing some pieces including the main postal board. Directions on inside of front cover mention the use of a stamper in the game - unfortunately this is one of the pieces missing

The quest continues for the Holy Grail!! (well, at least the holy grail for people who are interested in such things).

Richard,
I looked for that darn stamp forever and could not find it!
The only stamp I could find was the Old Put.
Just kidding.
If you do find it, I would love to see it though.

Picked up another early Japanese CDV. This one is pretty unique- it also pictures a "Westerner". Might be from an early American college tour.

That was the format for 1921 Exhibit ad pieces. I have a boxing one on my Exhibits web site.

Sometimes when I reflect on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Just grabbed this one from a fellow board member. I haven't gotten it yet.

This is why I love SGC holders. A nice snug fit, no matter what the card is. You can't say that for GAI or PSA.

I thought at first that it looked too narrow , but then remembered that is normal for an American Beauty T206 ...I've learned a great deal from this board but I have a lot more to know .

cmoking - It really hurt when you outbid me on the Shean. Really nice card. I also was watching the Hogan but I have one in lesser condition. Your Hogan is also very nice.

sorry pal. I'm just trying to complete the set with decent looking cards. I liked the look of this card, even with the crease. Not many cards have been graded by SGC/PSA, so I figure if a good eye appeal card comes up, I should do my best to grab it.

No hard feelings. It was a great opportunity for me - an especially tough card for me (only Boston NL player in the set) with nice eye appeal graded by SGC. All the planets were lined up but I was concerned about how they fiddled with the scan. You deserved and got it because you were willing to pay more than I was. I hope that you would consider me if you find a nicer one.
