Default David Price - Potential Tommy John

There is growing concern in the Red Sox camp that David Price could need Tommy John surgery. He is seeing Dr. James Andrews today I believe.

These are the saddest of possible words:
"Doctor and Andrews and James."
Cutter of elbows, he's for the birds,
Doctor and Andrews, and James.
Ruthlessly hacking our star ace's arm,
For next year it's good for this year it's harm
Especially if you just bet the farm:
"Doctor and Andrews and James."

It is a take on Tinker, to Evers, to Chance. The saddest words a Giants fan could ever hear were Tinker, to Evers, to Chance.

That's okay, Scott. The original didn't have spell-check either.

GOOD, Maybe now everyone will shut the hell up about the RedSox...Best team money can buy along with the Yankees.....With this payroll lineup, Stevie Wonder could win a pennant....

I don't think they're going to be as successful as everyone and their dog says they will be. They didn't replace Big Papi's bat. Porcello pitched out of his mind last year, still posted a 3+ ERA, and only won the Cy Young because of run support.

Go Indians!

My comments were insensitive and inappropriate. I didn't mean anything bad upon David Price personally, I do wish him well. I just don't like the Red Sox at all...Teams like them, the Yankees, and Dodgers are ridiculous with their extravagant payrolls. It's ruining baseball, period..

What about the Yankees is ruining baseball? Their team is probably going to finish 4th in the AL East this year and haven't won a playoff series since 2012. The Dodgers haven't won a championship since 1988, that was almost 30 years ago.

You're forgiven, Kevin. Remember Price is a lefty and a Vanderbilt grad...

...not like his history was say...UCLA then on to Fenway...and being a righty.

Packs....I guess that boils down to management, bad contract commitments, and poor farm team support. My point was these team's ridiculous payrolls. Players are going to seek this kind of money, how do smaller market clubs compete? Look at the Red Sox pitching staff, it's ridiculous. They have 5 pitchers that could be the number one pitcher on most all of the other teams. The Dodgers have absolutely no excuse, every single year they pay out money like they are going to quit the game the next year...
