Nice ball - what other autos are listed? What type of BB?

I find him and Mantle equally intriguing in very different ways. As a collector, I think they complement each other well. I also like that their signatures both had easily identifiable changes over the early parts of their careers.

I hate to interrupt the new rmarks/case12 sub-forum, but here's a new autograph pick-up...and I don't even need to know whether or not it is real!

Posted this RPPC of Mel as well, as I believe I'll matt and frame the two together. I chose the suited pic as I think it's a great shot, but I also like the idea of having non-baseball history guests see it and scratch their heads. I can tell them Melvin Ott was a nice guy who wrote my great-grandfather a check for his white fedora.

Thanks guys. Ott has been on my short list for years. I'm very grateful that Hunt auctioned off so many full checks this Fall, as it made this one incredibly affordable - the five snapshots included in the lot were a freebie in my mind.
