Good question. My instincts tell me that the dumbass forger was too stupid to try to find pre 1940's paper such as the flyleaf of a book so he used modern index cards. At least on the Rusie he used the back!!!

Also, look at some of the other sigs he's selling. Extremely hard to find (if you even could find them) autographs for what would be a very small fraction if they were real. Run away...run away screaming.

You ask a question like this on a blatant forgery like this, but have 281 Hof autographs. You were also selling a "Cap Anson" earlier this year, but failed to provide a photo? You sir are clueless or the person selling this garbage. If you truely want or care to learn, stop acting like an idiot.

It's unprofessional to ask to see some of your collection? Really? Everyone here is always very forthcoming with their stuff. Oh well, good luck on your next purchases from CC.

Remove this character.....give him his wish. He is very offensive. And he should learn how to spell "Whoever'. This forum is populated with knowledgeable, ethical, helpful and supportive members.
Very Sincerely, Dennis O'Brien

He has boasted since he has been on here of 281 HoFer autographs but has yet to provide any proof of them and yet he asks for help on simple things that any knowledgeable collector would know .
I wonder if he is the seller of some of this stuff and not a collector ...could we have a rat in our midst.

Yeah, 281 out of 317, so that means he has some real toughies. Just going over the HOF list, I picked out about 65 that were at least real tough...and that was without really looking hard. Sooooo, he must have at least 29 of those real tough ones. Hmmmmm.

I missed the "Nouveau Riche" reference until someone mentioned it. That's funny as hell. Hey toolbag, you must come from old money. I'm neither, just a middle class guy who smells the BS a mile away. Go back to your mom's basement......

Here's the problem. And I will say this with respect and courtesy.

Someone who has 281 different HOF autos has a lot that are very rare and very expensive. When that same person asks about insanely obvious fakes, does it not then call into question the autographs that the person says that he claims to possess? That seems like a very reasonable position to take, especially when the person refuses to post his examples of those tough autographs.
