Default Willard Marshall Need Help Identifying Card!

I believe that it is between 1950-52 since that is when he played with the braves but that is just me guessing.

Never seen that type before...

it may be difficult to impossible to ID unless one is found with some type of advertising or a complete package is found.

There are a few generic cards from that Era that are cut out type cards like what yours looks like. These 3 below are also unknown and the only 3 Ive seen of this type...

Here are 3 from another unknown early 1950 series

The portrait is the same in this cut out and the 1950 Drakes however this has the facsimile on it. I am not sure if there is a connection but that is the only other card I have seen with this portrait used. I am not sure who had the rights or licenses for these portraits and the use of them on products back then. I assume that it was not strict. I have also seen generics like the ones you have, I am going to have to dig them up and see.

Default 1950 Royal Desserts

I am guessing that you meant to say the 1950 Royal Desserts set (as opposed to the Drakes). I think this is photo portion of a Royal Dessert card.

Seems kinda big (based on the keyboard key seen in the picture) for a Royal Dessert card, but it's hard to really tell. What is the actual size of the item?

It sure looks like it could be though.

looks like you got it Pete/Curt,
I never collected the set and didnt realize they had a caption within the image or I would have looked them up too.
