I saw this on MSN and thought it was funny.

Don't cencor, err...I mean censor my right to learn.

Ummm, I don't think censorship has anything to do with your ability to learn.

That IS a classic. I recall another beauty being asked, 'If you could interview anyone living or dead, who would it be?' To which she said, 'Living.'

I S*it you not.

Reading the written transcript is almost as good, if not better than watching this debacle..

"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, um, some people out there in our nation don't have maps and, uh, I believe that our, uh, education like such as, uh, South Africa and, uh, the Iraq and everywhere like such as, and I believe that they should, uh, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., uh, should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our [children]."

Great answer. I hope she said it dead pan.

A British parliamentary candidate (don't remember his name) was asked whether he believed in infant baptism (controversial at the time). He replied, "Believe in it? I've seen it!"

Check out this article on textbook censorship..
http://asiancorrespondent.com/126622...star-on-cover/

If they'd have made all textbooks like this one, I might've payed more attention..

Wow...never saw or heard that clip before. Perhaps she should have simply said, "they failed geography."
