The Squires thread got me to wondering about the previous owners of some of my cards. Anyone have some they would like to show? Here is mine. I have a bunch of Zeenuts that belonged to Carl Ewert. I especially like the one where he marked out the stamp of Albert Berry.

Hobby pioneer Buck Barker may have had the most distinctive back markings, he compiled statistics as well as biographical info. of the player pictured on the front in his distinctive scrawl. Pretty cool. I've owned an E107, Old Judge, and several zeenuts with "Barker backs".

Here's the back of a '32 Zeenut Pinckney:

I just looked and found a "Carl" on the back of a 1911 Zeenut Miller S.F. in my collection. Also found a second Squires that I missed before.

Does any one know if this is a collector name or some kind of notation of the player on the card? The card is a 1911 Zeenuts of Frank Miller, San Francisco.

No Gilliam Squires in my things, but a few of my Old Judges have names on the back.

My one Gus Weyhing card was apparently owned by at least three people previously - one of whose penciled initials are barely legible; an S.E. Plummer and an E. Russell Moulton.

My Jake Beckley was owned by a Bernard McAtee. If I'm not mistaken, I've seen others with this stamp on the back.

My Nash/Radbourn card was owned by an Edward L. Goeb (sp).

And an Old Judge collection wouldn't be complete without at least one card with Buck Barker's scribblings. Mine is on a Jimmy McAleer.

Finally, I have several cards (this is a Larry Corcoran) with this very neatly penned information on the back. I've also seen many of these.

My thorpe card, along with a geoup of m101-5s I bought all have the name Lester o'Brien stamped on the back. I don't have a back scan, so I can't show it.
