Default Pet Peeves and doing the right thing......

One of my small pet peeves in the hobby is calling everything a freaking proof. These Colgans are not proofs (I am not taking MW to task alone as many do it, even I have slipped before)....as well as there is almost no way that E97-2 (the black and white ones) are proofs.

And on the flip side it is so effing refreshing to have someone do the right thing...it almost deserves a standing ovation. Here is a message I sent to the seller of this card in the link below:

"Hi there,
I am sorry to let you know that your card is most likely a reprint. You can tell by the white space around the inside of the frame where the picture is. That white space should be much thinner. That and the card doesn't have the right kind of card stock. ....best regards"


and his response:

"Thanks for your input. After careful review I believe you are right. Pulling auction down. Gary"
