Default Caramel/Tobacco cards that are missing a color layer....

Posted By: Brian McQueen

I was curious as to what sets out there have been known to produce cards with different background color or any sort of a color variation due to cards missing a step during their original print run. The grey e94 that I picked up on BST the other day (Thanks Andy!) is a neat example of what I'm talking about. I've also seen e94s with a bright orange background. However, I was curious if these sort of printing gaffes occurred in other sets as well.

A few other variations like this that I've seen include -

- the e90-3 Smith, Tinker and Payne all have blue/blue-ish versions due to their missing a green color pass.

- t210s can be found with the neon orange borders

- I've heard that d311s can sometimes be found with players standing on blue-ish colored grass instead of green. I haven't seen one of these though.

- Blank backed/handcut e93s and e97s sometimes were printed with color layers missing as well

Anyone out there know of any others?
