Default Al Kaline question

Did Kaline ever place a 'dot' over the i in his autograph. Actually, the dot is over the space between the n and e. I know all of his current autos are not 'dotted', but wasn't sure about the older ones. Trying to figure out if an auto is forged or real. Thanks for the help.

I have several in-person autographs from Mr. Kaline with the "i" dotted. 1 directly over the "i" and the rest over the n and e.

I have noticed lately that his signature has started to decline a little so keep that in mind as well.

Also, he signs through the mail for a $10 donation.

Last time I sent to him it was $10 for flats and $20 for a ball. Cash only.

Default Al Kaline auto

Not meaning to frail the thread as I think the original question was answered, but where does one obtain addresses to mail away for his auto?

Thanks in advance.

You can also send it to Comerica Park in care of Al Kaline. I've done that several times with success.

I am not sure that it has declined. I think more likely, Kaline gives a faster and sloppier sig for the 10 donations. I have seen recent show sigs that have paid full price, and there are the same high quality that i have seen from him for years.

I got him for free TTM a few years ago, and it was a horrible and sloppy sig. The Al was half an A and part of an L. The Kaline was barely readable except for the K. The 10 sigs are a bit better. His in-person free sigs are also very sloppy.
