Default O/T National - Thurs Night Cubs Game

My 17 year old son will be joining me at the National. I am planning to go to the Heritage auction on Thursday evening and he would like to go to Wrigley Field that night to see the Cubs.

Any net54 readers going to that game that evening from the Convention center? My son, Matt would like to go with some others.

I was thinking of trying to catch a game but not sure of the best way to get to the stadium from the convention center. Whether there's local public bus or train?

You can easily walk to the CTA station from the Convention Center. Take the Inbound train to the Addison stop. From there take the eastbound Addison St bus (follow the crowd) and it stops across the street from Wrigley Field. Probably an hour. But I would allow about 75 minutes.
