Thanks Rob! I have 5 Maravich cards waiting to be delivered (including an Icee Bear) + 2 ungraded Sportscasters cards. That will give me 10 out 23 cards for the set. Emailed a bunch of people about the 1972 Comspec card. That card is going to prove very difficult to find, but I'm up for the challenge!

Default 51 Parkhurst Pick ups

Just started this project and plan on getting from EX to NM, but a couple came back lower than I hoped. These are my first nine:

Nice Parkies,, very hard to come by in the high grade. I have heard these were tumbled in a drum after they were printed, but not sure if that is fact or not

Default Parkies

Thank you. They are difficult to get both centering and condition. I, too, have read about the cement mixer to mix the cards up. Not my first choice, but I guess it worked for them at the time.

Default 6 more 'Pistols'

Having a hard time finding graded Maravich cards lately. Did a lot of digging and ended up buying these from the 3rd ranked PSA master set registry collector. Never met the guy but feel like I've known him for years while working on this deal. The 1971 Topps Trios Maravich is amazing and well-centered (only 10 higher). The 1975 Topps Maravich only has 3 graded higher. I now have 14/23 cards with a few more in the works!

Mike! Glad to see you post on this thread. For anyone who doesn't know already, Mike is a great guy who really helped me out with my set. (If you ever get tired looking at your Comspec, be sure to let me know!)
