Default Dave Duncan: Hall of Famer???

On the Fox Saturday game they were talking about how Dave Duncan could be the first pitching coach to make the HOF.

I guess if they do elect this specialty position then Dave would be the front runner. Leo Mazzone had talent in Atlanta, but bombed in Baltimore thus probably eliminating him.

Any other candidates?

Johnny Sain.

I hope not though. The HOF is watered down enough.
If you put in pitching coaches you'd have to also admit Charlie Lau.

Default a great talent, yes, but

the "Fame" part of the equation couldn't be found more lacking...can't put in coaches. Managers, umpires and executives are a stretch as it is!

Absolutely not.

Speaking as a Cardinal fan, Duncan and LaRussa should go in together to the HOF.

The way Duncan puts a pitching staff together is amazing.

This years staff has Kyle McClellan and Kyle Lohse as the 3-4 starters......
