Default Iowa Barn Storming Tour

Fellow Net 54'ers,

A friend and I are planning a trip to Iowa in search of Vintage Baseball cards this summer. We are collectors, not resellers, etc. We are looking for shop's, dealers, and fellow collectors that are interested in selling. We each primarily collect Baseball cards from the 1940's and 1950's. Can anyone recommend a shop or venue in Middle to Eastern Iowa that has a good selection or would fit this bill?

Thanks!

James

I would look up Tim Payne. He is a dealer in the Des Moines area with a very large selection of vintage cards.

Try Midwest Collectibles in Davenport. Open Mon-Sat, 10-6. Go in before 5:00 to make sure the Jim (the owner) is in.

You'll never find anything there. These guys have already picked everything good in Iowa!
