If I'm reading the instructions correctly, we had to guess 1)the price of the 2nd highest card, and 2) name the player/card with the highest bid? So wouldn't the correct answer be:
$34 (price of 2nd highest card)
Grove (player you are choosing to be the highest)?

You read too much into it...I will try to be more clear in the future.
