Default Yogi!

In honor of the passing of Yogi Berra, I am posting a watercolor painting I did years ago of him. The painting as well as the person means a bit to me, as it was transformational in my artistic development. Yogi and the spirit he brought to the game is also integral in my being such a fan. I saw him at the first game I went to Mets vs. Expos in 1973 and was sold on his character and the joy he brought to the game.
This painting was published in Beckett Magazine and Jim Beckett personally bought it from me.

More of my sports art is available here. For more information, there is an email link on my site...
