Default Wow.....

I see stuff like this and I'm real tempted to do away with my 80's & 90's cards once and for all:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/160947695774

I don't see why this is so high. Maybe the thrill of not knowing what is in the boxes. New seller no less.

On the other hand, it works out to just under 9 cents a card.

There were a few decent cards and a load of ones that would be dollar box stuff. A few of the newer sets maybe quarter box for the commons.

I think a full time dealer who had a way to move the bulk junk could do ok with that bunch of stuff.

Default Shill bidders

Who knows why, but my bet is all of the bidders are shill bidders. Each of the top 3 bidders have all bid on just ONE item, this item. Seems ironic, especially for a crap lot from a seller who has been on ebay 2 weeks to get 3 high dollar bids from infrequent bidders. Possibly a seller hoping that his shill bid activity will stimulate a bid from a legit buyer.

Agreed. Even 9 cents a card is way too high for those cards. Looks like a total scam to me.....

If a board member buys this lot, I have a similar lot in my garage, all baseball, that I will sell for less...

Good observation. It does look like they were dangling the hook in the water.

Default Gone

Thankfully, the listing was ended by the seller before an outcome could be determined...oh well, I will just have to wait for the next $8k crap lot to be listed to put in my bid.

There was a guy in that video? My attention was clearly drawn elsewhere
