Default not exactly a vintage inquiry...

Posted By: Mark Evans

but I'm hoping no one's offended and some member(s) might have the answer, more or less, off the top of his/her head. Which baseball and football issues from 1956 through 1969 include team cards which, like the 1958 Topps baseball set, identify the players pictured on the card? This is not intended to include team cards (if any) which instead have "checklists" of cards of individual players. Thanks alot. Mark

The 1956 Topps Baseball team cards do identify the players on the front.

1968 Topps Baseball has team cards, but the players are not identified.

Someone else should be able to help with the rest.

only 1956 and 1958 would contain player names on the front, I beleive as I sit here.

(I've got the dated and undated ones), because the pictures are so blurry. I'd challenge anyone to identify the players in those cards by picture, without the names!
