Default Was this signed or Stamped.

Thoughts on this autograph to whether it was real or stamped. I thought about bidding on it but the orange square made me think of stamp block.

It looks original, and not stamped, from the one picture posted.
Perhaps the square shows up because it was matted with a picture at one time. Uneven light exposure could have caused the part of the paper visible to fade to a slightly different color shade, while the hidden part appears as the page originally did. Additionally, the orange area is a very exact, probably measured rectangle, which is how any framer would have matted that signature.

Well I was the underbidder and it is a beauty. If you won it congrats. It is a nice signature.
