Default Poor coaching decisions by Mike Tomlin

What the heck was he thinking in the last few minutes of the game? They onside kicked when they should have kicked off, then they kicked off when they should have onside kicked. I know, its probably 1000 to 1 odds on scoring on an onside kick, but you have to at least give your team a chance, right? I'm not a Steelers fan, I just don't get the coaching decisions.

After all, look at that Minnesota Miracle. Anything can happen.

Tomlin just gave up and kicked the ball away to end the game.

I think he onside kicked it because he absolutely did not trust his defense to not allow a first down.

The end of the game was pretty much moot. 1000-1, it was more like a million+ to 1. Much better chance actually of scoring a TD on a kickoff by hoping for a muff further downfield from the return guys and running it in, then pulling the ball out of a onside kick scrum and running it in.

Both games were freaking crazy though.

As far as the Steelers, I don't think I've seen a QB make so many tough throws and see so many great catches.........and that team still loses the game.

What about the play calls on the 2 missed 4th and 1s? You should never run for a 5 yard loss on 4th and 1. Maybe a qb sneak with someone of Ben's size.

The on the field decisions are questionable enough, but what Tomlin needs to do 1`st is get control of his own locker room. The dreaded "guys like to play for him mantra" is starting to wear thin and he wasted a lot of talent over the last 5-6 seasons. My 2 cents anyway...................

The guy works in the salary cap era and hasn't had a losing season in 11 years. I think his job is safe.

Every head coach can't be Bill Belichick.
