Default Grade my 1954 Topps Ernie Banks Rookie

Just picked up this Ernie Banks rookie. It does have a small stain to upper left corner and a small corner crease seen at angle. A little corner and edge wear, but overall presents very well. Considering sending it into PSA, and i do not expect to receive any higher than a 4 VG-EX grade, possibly a 3 VG. Do they give stain(ST) qualifiers on lower grade cards such as this? Would also like to hear if people agree with my assessment of a PSA 3-4 grade on this.

I'd expect a 3 or 4 with an ST qualifier.

3(ST) for me too. They definitely give MK's for lower graded cards. I think they allow small stains at PSA 4 level, but this is on the front and fairly large. If it was a light gum stain on back like the 1950 Bowmans, it might get by without a Stain modifier since it was original to the card in a pack.

Thanks for everyone's insight. May just keep it raw if it may get a grade as low as 1

Torn and stained? 1.5 Fair

Still, presents well for the "grade"
