Seems rushed with the huge gap and the squished last name.

My guess is an old Sparky Anderson, but I can't make out the looks of the last name to be convinced totally

Sparky Anderson had worse penmanship than me, and that's saying a lot.

These two are from Sportsmemorabilia.com (for whatever that's worth) and they look like they could match the one in the original post. But there are plenty of folks here with better eyes than mine.

My guess would be either George "Sparky" Anderson, or George Armstrong, who played for the 1946 Philadelphia A's, and died in 1993.

I'd go with Sparky based on the other ball examples but it's odd how his signature changed over the years (typical of players from that era though). I think I have 10 cards or so of him (all signed in 80's and 90's) and the end of his last name always sloped up... always thought it was a weird signature. Still a great of the game and IMO underrated as a manager.
