Default Never thought of only looking at the B/S/T

Posted By: leon

I know our Buy/Sell/Trade pages get looked at a lot as I have the stats to show it. What I never really thought about is that there are some folks that don't read the main board but only look at the BST pages. I spoke with someone this evening that barely knew about the main forum but said he looks at the B/S/T pages sometimes...I thought that was sort of strange (nice guy though)..I wonder how many folks only look over there? .regards

I'm almost always there. Very rarely do I venture to other parts of the board. However tonight I have, while I was waiting for some auctions to end. Pretty neat stuff.

Leon if they "only look over there", how are they going to see your post here to respond? I would say I'm 50/50 between the two.

I know the majority of folks that buy things from me off the B/S/T have mentioned they come to the site for that and that only. They have never posted, and aren't that interested in the threads (maybe they are smart).

I check BST once or twice a day, usually the T cards. I am on the main forum 4 or 5 times a day.

For me...I'm 90% about the forum...10% on the BST. But this is also because I'm not buying much these days

I'm probably split evenly between the two sections 50/50.
Although I rarely post I do however email or call many
members privately quite a bit.
Have acquired some neat friendships by visiting the board.

I lurk a lot but don't post much anymore. I grew tired of the personal attacks and stuff.

I still enjoy the forum, though

I check B/S/T usually only once per day unless I have something for sale. I have to say that most of the items that I have sold there over the last two years have been to people who NEVER post here. Most (all?) of the things I have bought have been from people I recognize as posters here.

its funny seeing people email you about a card thats for sale and you don't recognize the name. I once sold a Morgan Stationary Red Belts post card to a news anchor in N.Y. and never seen a post from him on Net 54.

of looking at the B/S/T after my first look when I originally found the site. I looked after you posted this thread and just bought a cabinet card. Life is good when you is the windshield instead of the bug. Timing is everything. Tx Rhys......
