Default Derek Jeter Autographics Purple Foil /50 came back BGS 7.5 -- talk me off the ledge?

I just got the e-mail that my 2000 Skybox Autographics Derek Jeter Purple Foil numbered out of 50 came back a 7.5 overall (7 corners, 8 edges, 9.5 surface, 9.5 centering) with a 10 on the auto. I was definitely hoping for at least an 8, since I'm going to med school and will end up selling this card. But when I looked at the pop reports, the only other one at BGS came back at an 8 and the only one done by PSA is a 7. I'm inclined to send it into PSA (I'm not too wild about the auto grade bc if it's a 10, you can see that it's nice just by looking), because I'm worried not many high-end collectors want 21st century cards graded less than an 8 in their collections. But at the same time, it seems like the purple foil cards are a tough set for condition, so if I put it up on eBay, should I just state the subgrades, show it's a tough set and hope someone will still pull the trigger?

I would attach photos but I haven't gotten it back in the mail yet.

I really appreciate any insights.
