Default Detroit Tigers Postcard with Cobb - Help Needed

I recently picked up this Tigers postcard with Cobb in it. I have owned several of these over the years but have never seen one before with a completely blank back. There is absolutely no writing, marking or evidence of any type of print on the back. Just wondering if anyone else has ever ran across this before. Is it possible that this blank back was a factory error that somehow escaped?? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Heimer and HM Taylor both used the same image in 1907-1909. They are, however, slightly different than this one. Maybe an rppc? Note that the font is different on the HM Taylor.
