1930s Al Simmons Wooden Cigar Box
Early 1930s wooden Al Simmons cigar box. This is truly one of the better examples I have ever seen of this box. There are very few flaws on the box (and all of the flaws are just general wear as can be seen in the photo), the lid is completely attached, and all of the labels are intact (although as can be seen, there is some paperloss on the bottom part of the inner label - I believe it did say "Al Simmons" there), including a beautiful inner label. Plus, this is the much rarer wooden (not cardboard) version... and it is the earlier wooden version. Mastro's is the only other one I have ever seen that is in better condition, but that his sold for over $500 (and was the later wooden version). Asking $260 shipped for this one.
