Default Identification of postcard (not Toronto with Joe Kelley)

This was sold as a "Toronto Eastern League Nap Lajoie 1917" postcard on ebay,, with the rear of the card having identified Joe Kelley as pictured in the second row, second on the left.

With Mark's assistance, he confirmed it was indeed not Joe Kelley pictured. (Nap of course nowhere to be present)

There are obviously too many players for one team. It's a neat vintage card in any event, with some subjects holding baseball equipment (chest protector, bat, glove) and one subject holding a Spalding book. Cute dog too. The card is mailed to Toronto, but the photo was taken in Chicago. As well, there is a photographer's studio stamp from Maine.

Any thoughts on who these men may be? (I've already eliminated Joe Jackson, Jim Thorpe and Byron Mclaughlin)

A larger scan of the postcard may be viewed here front and back.

Thanks,

Max
