Default Immediate !! Net54baseball contest 10/22/16 ..Never seen before?

Sometimes it can actually pay to read the board. But you have to be quick.....
First member to post in this thread, what I don't think I have seen before in a baseball game, on this postcard, wins. The answer is only what I am thinking and looks fairly obvious..... Winner gets 20 bucks.....

I contest. ...no catcher is no big deal. When have you ever seen a sick patient on bed next to the field?? At Least that's what I see.

Ironically you have to be mildly insane to play catcher. The "mental" patients shown playing in this game are sane enough to decide it's not worth it. Perhaps they had no carcher's equipment. Looks like a sandlot game. And perhaps the catcher is some distance away from the plate (off camera).

No worries Leon.

My first thought was that I don't remember seeing glitter on a baseball related postcard. Holiday ones and city scenes yes, but not baseball.

I was going to post something about the Tribe making the WS with "no catcher," but by golly Perez is playing tough. Wonder if Lucroy is enjoying his time with the family?

HA!! It's a hospital and I looked quickly and first thought I saw a sick person in bed watching next to the field. Looking again I think there are three people and I bet they are all patients. . ...never seen that before.

Never picked up on a sick patient. Where is he/she?

That is why I had to phrase the question the way I did. I thought the pitcher was rather far away at first, then I looked for the catcher and nadda. Unless he is very skinny and behind the tree >...

Bottom right. There are three people that look like they are almost lieing down with blankets....maybe I need more coffee too. At first I thought it was a coffin, but why would a dead person watch a baseball game.

The pitcher's fast ball is "nuts",
His curve ball is "crazy"
And his slider "goes bananas".

No wonder the catcher left.

I have to admit, that (Adrian holding card) is quite funny. On another note, I guess my amusement is valued around 10 bucks...

Badge man is cool, no doubt. Not sure he out does Adrian though.
But I got another. Why is the fielder right behind the pitcher so darned small?

Leon,

Shame on you. That is not Adrian holding the card. The card being held is the nun's Wagner (maybe) and the seller was alleged to be from Nashville. This was not an Adrian thread. If I recall correctly, we never had the opportunity to see an image of Adrian (aka - Zone91). He remains in Canada, well north of Nashville, or at least I hope so.

It's the "short"stop. He's just a little out of position.
