my guess is early 1910's from some of the players and their respective teams at the time.

Interesting item. Perhaps it was used to promote cards (though I would think it oridinarilly have have some sort of advertising on it, unless is was a part of a larger display), or perhaps it was sold to customers. Especially in the 19th century, posters were were sold directly to the public, though they were usually of single teams. I'm sure others have noticed that there's Johnson and Mathewson, but no Cobb.

I recently lost my pair of glasses, but I could swear that I see push pins holding this poster down--I hope there were pre-existing holes.

I was thinking the same thing. It's hart to tell if the pins are just holding down the corners are poked through.
