Default Authenticity of 33 Sport Kings

An ebay seller was recently selling a group of 1933 Sport Kings in PRO holders. Now I usually avoid PRO like the plague, however, this seller has very good feedback, and also had a 14 day return policy, so I took a flier and sniped a few. I ended up winning the Carnera card. What do you think? Is it genuine? Trimmed? Thanks!

My vote is authentic but trimmed on at least a couple of edges.

Be careful. There are reprint Sport Kings now with the ghost imprint on the back but are larger than originals. Be sure yours is not trimmed or has evidence of artificial toning/aging. The ghost imprint looks very strong.

Trimmed and overgraded. Hopefully you didn't pay too much for these. I recently sold my entire Sport Kings set thru PWCC just last week.

I'll go along with the trimming theory. I just dumped a few of my own (raw, and been in my own hands since the sixties). The cardboard should be thick and hefty, but soft. Should lead to natural rounded corners. However, the color tone of the green print on the back looks correct, for what's that worth.

From what I've observed and heard, PRO cards are usually authentic and trimmed. Grading reprints isn't the issue with them.

Thanks for the comments. I didn't have too much into the card (~$48), which is around the price for this card in PSA 2-3.. I think the card *may* be trimmed on the bottom. I was more concerned with authenticity, since I have heard of some cards in PRO holders come back as fake. I compared the card to other Sports Kings that I have, and the size measures fine. I'll see how it goes after I crack it out and re-submit it.
