Default Halloween reminder

To all my fellow sports card nuts out there..... dont forget to get some cards ready to pass out at Trick or Treat time..... what a great way to get kids interested with some free cards tossed in their bags along with the candy! I keep some boxes of baseball, football, and basketball and ask the kids that are old enough which is their favorite, then throw in a handful! Even for the little kids, why not? Ive had some teenagers sneak back with their friends (they thought I didnt recognize they had already been there LOL but I pretended not to notice ) and gave them more cards anyhow.... why not..... its a great way to promote the hobby. Read an article today in SCD ( yes I still subscribe) about a guy in Detroit that has a complete set of T206 including the Wagner, when he would show it off to kids, they would leave with a raw T 206 card as a souvenir to get them started! WOW makes me want to go to Detroit!
