I am really interested in this 19th century Philadelphia Athletics Baseball Club stock certificate. I was hoping there is someone knowledgeable about these so I know whether I can bid with confidence.

Chris it jumped up from 1 initital bid of $89 to 10 bids at over $400 since you posted this 3+ hours ago.
In your quest to gain knowledge you tipped off others who may be interested in this piece.
For the record. I didn't bid but think its pretty neat.

The perils of posting an ebay auction on this forum before it ends....and for the record I did not bid on this either. It was already at $400+ when I saw this thread.

Yeah I didn't think of that, but at the same time I didn't want to sink a lot of money in and have it be a fake or something. Well if someone on the board gets it good for them.
