Default Questions on my Bats & Balls

So, over the last few months I've made some fun finds that may or may not be really fun...this seems like a very knowledgeable community, so any info you can give me on any of these items is appreciated...I put the price I paid for them because I like to keep score as to if I got ripped off, or made a good/great purchase!

REGGIE JACKSON BAT - $40 (last day of estate sale 50% off from $80...Estate was from a guy that used to be a bat boy for the Royals (supposedly)...had lots of other bats, this was the one that I bought since it may be a gamer)...Model era is right for his time w/ the Angels...blue scuffs are beneath the Nameplate as they would be for a LH hitter...no tar/tape

RANDOM "BREWERS" BAT - $6...no idea on this one, but the price was right. One oddity on it is the knob has been shaved down to next to nothing, and there is thick athletic tape on the handle...I went through all time Brewers roster & didn't see a name that was close to this one, so I'm thinking at best a minor leaguer?

THE BABE - $60 - I assume it is retail, and obviously has some flaws, but still...The Babe! Two specific questions I have...if I plan to keep for display, is there a recommended way to try to patch in the knob, and is there a good way to accentuate the engravings? I was thinking black wax, somebody mentioned to rub ash into the engravings...are those awful ideas?

continued...

THE LITTLE MICK - $8 - Little league bat, no cracks...I know it isn't worth much, price seemed right

BASEBALL ALL TIME GREATS MENU - $10. The little antique store ticket said the signature was from a famous Broadway producer...I tried to research them (Marty Forkins) when I originally bought it, but didn't find much, so I can't imagine their auto adds much cache. Still a neat piece (but I wish it didn't have the sig on it!)

EMPRESS BASEBALL - $25 I can't find ANYTHING on this...I bought it this Spring and have had a saved eBay search then for "Empress Baseball" and nothing but a postcard has hit...the material feels like plaster, not leather...love this piece though, very unique

SIGNED BASEBALL - $3 I saw Jerry Lumpe on it, and figured for $3, why not...I'm embarrassed to admit this, but when I looked at it tonight to take the pics, Nelson Fox jumped out at me...I had never noticed his signature before!! Still not sure who the others are...faded very badly obviously...the bottom one always looked like norm Siebern to me + I assumed it was all KC A's when I saw Lumpe (and I found it in KC)...seeing Fox on there has me wondering if it could be just random MLBers?

^^Very hard to see, but I always thought that may be Norm Siebern
