Sad news. My old college roommate was a Sox fan and used to reference No Neck. I see his mother was nicknamed "Big Mama"!

Default No-Neck

Remember him well from his PCL days on his way up....1968 maybe? When Hawaii came to Vancouver to play the Mounties, pre-game he was always front and center chatting up the fans, and in particular the kids. Just read his bio, apparently he volunteered much of his time at home with first-time drug offending youths during the off-season. Rest well, Walt.
