I am making available a VERY RARE (I don't throw that word around too much) near set of 1924 V122 Willard's Sports Champions. I have 52 of the 56 cards in the set, and all 4 I need are "commons" so you will be getting all the stars in the set.

If you are into the PSA set registry, this set will become #1 immediately should you decide to get them graded, as the cards are extremely nice (including the Ruth & many of the stars) and there hasn't been a set like this offered in MANY YEARS. I have collected this set for several years and prior to picking ap a large chunk in a collection there were sveral cards I had NEVER seen before.

I am looking to get $8495.00 for the set, and I will not be reducing the price to move it. If there is no interest at this price I will keep it, as I feel the price is actually a little on the low side -- as there is tremendous break up potential. If you don't pick up this set now, I don't know when the next time you will have the opportunity to do so.

All cards in this set should grade numerically, as they all measure correctly and display no signs of trimming, or any other defects. The blank backs are all clean, free of any damage.

BUMP.

There has been a fair amount of interest in this set, however mostly in the form of people wanting trades. I would really prefer to sell outright, but will consider trades if the item(s) is(are) fairly substantial.

I have decided to slightly reduce the price, but I don't anticipate reducing any further. New for sale price is $8295.00 to be paid by check or money order. I understand times are a little tough, and if someone would like the set but doesn't have all the funds RIGHT NOW, we could probably work something out with the buyer getting the cards after payment has been made in full. Anyone looking to purchase the set would get preference over anyone with potential trades.

I just want reiterate the rarity of this set. I have been collecting them for several years and there are a few cards in this set that I have never seen offered on ebay before.
