Default TED WILLIAMS Personally Owned & Monogrammed Sport Coat

TED WILLIAMS PERSONAL "TW" MONOGRAMMED SPORTCOAT
$650.00 postpaid

Originates directly from the Ted Williams estate and comes with letter of Provenance signed by Claudia Williams.

Sky blue men's sportcoat manufactured by "Saxony Hall Clothes" having "TW" initials embroidered below interior pocket. In fine condition with evident usage wear and laundering.

This Sport Coat VERY VERY closely resembles the sport coat Ted Williams wore to the White House in 1991 along with Joe Dimaggio to accept their Presidential Citations on the 50th Anniversary of the 1941 Baseball season in which Ted Williams batted .406 becoming the last major league player to do so and Joe DiMaggio hit in a record 56 consecutive games. This historic meeting with then President George H.W. Bush and covered extensively in the media pictures Williams wearing a jacket identical to this one. While I can be certain this jacket was once owned and worn by the man generally considered the "Greatest Hitter of All Time" and was obtained directly from his daughter. I am fairly certain based on comparing this jacket to the many photos taken that day that it stands a better than average chance of being THE jacket worn by Williams on what would have been one of the most memorable post baseball career & Hall Of Fame induction days of his life.

Ted's height was 6 ft 3", Probably weighed in at 225-250 with long arms. If interested e-mail me and I will send a few links of photos of what I believe is Ted Williams Wearing it

Just a guess but having met Mr. Williams a couple of times and comparing to myself in terms of jacket size, I would guess he was about a 46 or 48 long.
