Hi Danny, this 1972 Classic Cards set does indeed exist. It is somewhat of a collectors issue. Perhaps more uncut sheets exist than do single cards. I searched for 8-9 years before finding some singles for my Cardinals collection. I can't post a scan right now, but will later on. Randy

Hey Danny,

Here's an example of a 1972 Classic Card. They are not expensive cards by any means, but they certainly are elusive. It took me over a year to track down this Gibson card, which I bought as part of an entire series (1/4 of the set). I have since sold/traded all but two cards of the series; there was no Dummy Taylor.

Regards,

Richard.

I remember heard that there's 3 series in 1972 Classic. I wonder which series did Luther "Dummy" Taylor appeared.

Thanks for the scan example. Seems a nice classic card

So strange to able find T206 Luther Taylor at least 3 per month and nothing on this 1972 classic...

Danny

There are 4 series of 30 cards in this set. Luther Taylor is in the 4th series.
As stated before, not very expensive, just very hard to find. I need a couple of these myself.

I bought a set a few years ago to get the Phillies...I then sold many of the cards off after that...I will have to check to see if I have any left sitting around. I looked for several years before finding one set.
