Default trivia question

Let's try this one backward, a la Jeopardy. The answer is Reggie Sanders. What is the question? Hint, it has to do with statistics.

You guys may well be right but I was thinking of something different -- also related to home runs.

My question has to do with lifetime, regular season stats.

Most home runs by a player named Sanders?

Most teams having 100 or more hits in a season?

Most teams having 20 or more doubles?

He's the answer to 50 more trivia questions.

Close, very close. This might be right too, I don't know, but not quite what I had in mind.

I thought it was a good question, but apparently not, sorry men.

I would not have thought Reggie held so many records, being a minor star at best. But what I had in mind was, he has the most home runs (305) of any player never to have a 100 RBI season.

Who is the biggest moron to ever lace up spikes? For those who don't remember, Reggie charged the mound after being HBP with one out in the 8th inning of a perfect game being thrown by Pedro Martinez, with the score 2-0 and the count 0-2. Yep, a guy 5 outs away from a perfecto and with you in an 0-2 hole is going to bring the tying run to the plate and give up on perfection by plucking you in the elbow intentionally. What a tool.

At least 10 home runs in a season for each of the eight different teams for whom he played?

If he charged the mound - after being plunked - he didn't ruin the perfect game. Just the no-no IF Pedro was ejected too (was he?)

How many batters can you hit and still have a perfect game?

He lost the perfecto with the HBP (obviously) then after the bench-clearing brawl left Pedro in the game (can you imagine ejecting him under those circumstances?) he gave up hits and the pen blew the lead later. Pedro was with the Expos at the time, and they went on to win, although Pedro didn't even get the W.
