Default 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson

Hey guys just curious if anyone had any opinions on this 48 leaf Robinson (PSA 4). I've been looking to buy one of these for a while now and this one looks really nice. It's perhaps a bit much than I was going to spend but again it does look good. At any rate any thoughts as to if its a good, bad or fair price or any other comment?

I greatly appreciate the help!

Good to see a superhero buying cards while not battling crime- LOL!
I bought one of these a waays back. I was expecting to see some W/S/T or some type of bleeding. However on the back i do see what looks like a image of the front that appears to be a shadow. As for the front, looks ok. The name box is slightly larger than the yellow. Move along, the holder-- frosting? the pegs look there and not tampered.

Seller wise- some 'dead centered HIGH-END card" but has not sold in a year??
But has bought many items on Ebay (such as PWCC and probstein)
Always good to hear what others chime on.

VCP avg for that card is around 1,600 and the highest recorded sale is 1,926. Being dead centered I would expect to pay around that. I would shoot him an email and see if he would take less. Even 2k wouldn't be too bad but I wouldn't want to pay more than that. You could probably get a decent PSA 5 for 2,500. In my opinion.

I picked up a nicely centered SGC 4 from a member on net54 for a fair price. If he's not willing to deal I would say wait for the right card. They're rare but they are out there.

Thanks guys for the responses. I'm feeling the same way it's a nicely centered card but the price is a little high. I would feel ok at 1800-2000 but 2500 is steep. Also I just noticed that a PSA 5 sold for 2100 very recently. Maybe I'll see if he can take less but if not I'll pass on this one.

Thanks again for the advice it was very helpful.

No problem, and it never hurts to ask. I have had success on ebay shooting an offer on a listing that did not have an or best offer option. And I've also been told to beat it. Even in that case you haven't lost anything.
