Default 1916 Joe Jackson PSA 8 bargain?

With a couple of days left in the HA auction this card seems like a steal at the current bid of $34K. Do you think it will reach the estimate of $80K. If I had deep pockets I would be all over this.

Rennie, you aren't the owner of this card, are you?

It seems odd to be discussing this card now, before the auction ends, rather than after it sells (for whatever price), especially when you say that you won't be bidding on the card.

One more question: do you know the owner?

I know I could probably just afford the red paper background used for the lot photo, unless of course a bidding war broke out on it.

Would be interesting if it had an ad back. As a blank back it is probably overpriced where it is.

There are a few high end cards that look like relative bargains if there isn't some last day bidding. If only I had a few hundred grand lying around to spend.

In most auctions, the heavy bidding is at the end, PWCC notwithstanding. The bid at this point means next to nothing.
