Default Exhibits coloring

Some of the coloring on the old exhibits is just bizarre. I love this card but there is something very haunting, almost nightmarish about it. The coloring and the look on his face. Out of a scene from a David Lynch movie.

I recall reading a review, or hearing about it, where the reviewer explained that the movie was about the corruption of matter in the universe.
